Event Report

Once again the Australia House provided us with a great backdrop for what was a fantastic evening. We had no less than 125 members and guests fill the spectacular Downer Room. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to rap up the reception at Australia House earlier than usual this year. To try and compensate for this we swapped venues mid-evening to the function room of the local Temple Walkabout pub. Fortunately we didn’t lose too many people in the transition and managed to completely fill the venue. It turned out to be quite a late night with plenty of singing and dancing. From all reports the night was certainly a major success and we now invite our friends at IPENZ to try and out do us next year!
