| Tianca McHenry |

Tianca McHenry originally comes from Geelong, and completed her Building Engineering degree and post-graduate diploma degree in Building Fire Safety & Risk Engineering at Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne and Werribee respectively.
Tianca is a Fire Safety Engineer with over 10 years experience in Fire Safety Engineering and is currently employed with Mott MacDonald London. Valuable knowledge was also gained with Norman Disney & Young in Melbourne and in London. Her wide range of experience includes assessments in the areas of fire engineering and production of fire safety strategies for government buildings, educational establishments, retail, residential and commercial buildings. Tianca also has experience in Fire Services systems design.
Tianca has been in the United Kingdom since 2005, and as per most Aussies in London, Tianca enjoys travelling and experiencing the delights of Europe and the UK. She also enjoys playing sport (basketball, tennis, softball in the park, etc), socialising with friends, theatre, music and trying anything new! |

| Peter Walsh |

Peter Walsh graduated with a BEng (electrical) and BSc from the University of Queensland in 1991 and an MBA in 1997. Peter’s professional working life was focussed on building services engineering and facilities management area until 2002.
After completing a law degree at the University of Queensland, he was admitted as a solicitor in 2003 and after a short period in private practice working in Construction and Commercial Law, returned to the engineering field working in power generation and industrial engineering.
Peter relocated from Brisbane to the United Kingdom in May 2008, and is currently working as Senior Project Manager for GBM Minerals Engineering Consultants Limited.
Peter is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, Registered Professional Engineer Queensland, a Fellow of the Society of Operations Engineers and Chartered Engineer UK and is admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Courts of Queensland, NSW and England and Wales. |

| Tregan Ru |

Tregan works in the water and wastewater sector. She has undertaken various roles since graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) degree, these ranged from hydraulic modeller for flood alleviation schemes, to project manager’s representative on water treatment and pipeline projects. She is currently working as a Definition Engineer for one of the largest water companies in the UK.
She enjoys learning new skills whether it is baking a cake to restoring a house. She loves cycling and as well as hanging out with friends.
Tregan is also passionate about justice and water and sanitation for 3rd world countries, and has participated in fund-raising events like washing portaloos, leading a raft racing team to raise funds for Water Aid and speaking to school children on water conservation.

| Tien Kho |

Koey Tien Kho was born in Indonesia, and went to Australia to study. He completed a diploma in Mechanical and Production Engineering at Caulfield and Swinburne Institutes of Technology in Melbourne.
Tien is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia and a Chartered Engineer UK and Member of the IEE. He has been in the United Kingdom for 37 years now. In 2004 he retired from his position as UK Production Manager for Siemens Postal Automation.
Tien now spends his time improving his Spanish language, fundraising for FARM Africa, restoring a 1955 BMW motorcycle, as well as his work with the IEAust UK Chapter committee, which he has had an involvement with since 1988. |

Kristy Chandler graduated from the University of Western Australia with a BEng (hons) in Environmental Engineering and a BCom (HRM) in 2000.
Kristy moved from Perth to the UK in 2003 and currently works as a Associate Environmental Engineer for Capita Symonds with their Flood Risk and Water Management Team.
Kristy has been involved with the IEAust UK Chapter Committee for 3 years, including serving in the position as Honorary Treasurer.
Her interests include traveling, fishing, cricket, art, gardening, SCUBA diving, camping and general outdoors. |

| Raymond Lowe |

Raymond Lowe has been working in the UK railway signaling industry as a signaling systems engineer since arriving in the UK in June 2002. Initially working on secondment to Alstom Transport UK on a train control system project, he then joined Ansaldo STS where he has worked on a number of Network Rail re-signaling projects. Typical duties have involved project engineering, tendering, installation supervision, site testing and commissioning, and operations and maintenance support.
Prior to leaving Australia, Raymond worked with Alstom Australia in Sydney on automation and control systems for the 2.5 years after completing his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of New South Wales.
Raymond has been involved with the IEAust UK Chapter for a number of years, most recently serving as Honorary Chair for 2 years in 2008 and 2009.
In addition to traveling around the UK and Europe, Raymond’s other interests include theatre, musicals, watching sporting events (cricket, rugby, AFL), skiing, hockey, squash and touch footy..... and riding on trains. |

| Joshua Stark |

Joshua Stark completed an Electrical Engineering degree at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He majored in Telecommunications and Signal Processing, completing his degree with a thesis on "Hardware encoding of JPEG2000".
Joshua worked for LogicaCMG in Sydney as a telecommunications engineer for 5 years, then moved to the UK in 2006 and worked as a IT Engineer in London in the telecommunications industry. In 2007, he moved to Airwide Solutions located in Reading. He is working as a deliveries engineer to provide mobile phone equipment that runs services such as SMS and MMS, to companies all over Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Joshua served as the Honorary Secretary for the IEAust UK Chapter in 2008 and 2009.
Outside of work, Joshua enjoys a number of outdoor activities, such as, SCUBA diving, underwater photography, snow skiing, camping, hiking and 4WD.

Michael Short completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) at the University of New South Wales, and has since gained 30 years of experience in project management and site construction on a broad range of projects, including the last 25 years on the engineering, design and construction of gold and copper/lead/zinc ore treatment plants in Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Michael is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Fellow with Engineers Australia, a Chartered Engineer UK and Fellow with the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and a Fellow and Chartered Professional with the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Since March 1994, Michael has been Managing Director of his London-based consulting company, GBM Minerals Engineering Consultants Limited, and while he has been an active participant with the IEAust UK Chapter for many years, he is a new member on the committee. |

Sally Parker completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree (Environmental/Civil) at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia.
Sally worked for South East Water Ltd in Melbourne for 6 years in water, wastewater, and energy infrastructure projects before moving to London in 2006. Since arriving in the UK, Sally has worked for a design and engineering consulting firm, Atkins Ltd on a range of projects. Sally is chartered in Environmental and Civil Engineering through Engineers Australia, and has worked on projects including water, wastewater, and rail infrastructure projects in southern England, London and the Middle East. She is currently working for Atkins on the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Games, in the design of civil infrastructure which involves some of the most significant design and investment in London in the last few decades.
Sally has travelled Europe and UK extensively over 2.5 years since arriving in London and enjoys exploring the continent, and London’s cosmopolitan city. She enjoys travelling to new countries, and London’s arts, music, cultural and sporting events. Wimbledon tennis tournament and visiting Europe to see the northern lights is a must for 2009/2010. |

Clinton McHenry is a Structural Engineer who hails from Geelong, and is now Director of McHenry Structures Limited which was established in 2006 to provide consulting structural design services.
He initially set out to explore Europe on a 2 year working holiday visa which has turned into 11 years (to date) including 3.5 years in Dublin, Ireland.
He is married with two English-born boys (though Aussie passport holders) aged 3 and 1. The family really enjoys living in the UK, and particularly London, where the nature of engineering projects have provided opportunities that one may not face elsewhere, including having Europe on the doorstep for short breaks and holidays.
Clinton is a Chartered member of Engineers Australia and a Chartered Engineer UK and member of the Institution of Civil Engineers UK.
This is Clinton’s first year being involved with the IEAust UK Chapter committee. |

Jason Adcock completed a degree in Micro Electronics and Computer Systems at Griffith University. He hails from either Brisbane or Melbourne, depending on the day of the week, and has been in the United Kingdom for 3.5 years.
Jason owns a clean tech startup and a consultancy, so is to some extent his own boss. He has been involved with the IEAust UK Chapter for around 3 years. |

David Rasmussen comes from Gatton in Queensland. David completed his Mechanical Engineering degree at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and has subsequently gained Chartered Professional Engineer status with Engineers Australia.
He now works in London with Norman Disney & Young Consulting Engineers. He has been in the UK for 9 years, and has been involved with the IEAust UK Chapter committee for the last 5 years. |

Cossel Chang graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Hons). Cossel commenced work in Australia in a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in marine engineering.
He joined the Arup Maritime group in London late 2004. His marine engineering experience has involved all stages of design from planning studies to detailed designs and model testing. Recent projects include the ICE role on the Qatar-Bahrain Causeway and the member of the engineering team providing support for the architecturally lead Monaco Reclamation project.
Cossel joined the UK Chapter Committee in 2010, after having previously been involved as a committee member of the Queensland Division from 2001 to 2004. |

Stuart Marsh is a Structural Engineer who grew up on the Gold Coast in Queensland. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civils) at Queensland University of Technology in 1992 and thereafter worked for a dynamic multi-disciplinary consulting firm on the Gold Coast on a wide variety of Australian and international projects.
During these early post-graduate years he gained valuable overseas experience in Malaysia, and having been infected with a type of ‘travel bug’, decided to venture further afield to the UK in 1997, where aside from travelling and a stint in each of Glasgow, France and again back in Australia, he has resided in London, latterly with his English Rose for a wife.
Having worked for several UK firms and gained extensive experience across a diverse range of civil and structural roles and practices, he is now putting this to use as head of the London Structures group for renowned international AE firm Skidmore Owings and Merrill.
Stuart is a Chartered member of Engineers Australia, and has recently become a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers UK and achieved UK Chartered Engineer status. |

Ashan Iqbal graduated from University of Karachi in 2003 after successful completion of his chemical engineering degree programme. He initially joined an engineering and consulting company working in the Oil and Gas Sector.
Later, he joined an Australian based Engineering Contractor operating in Pakistan and acquired Professional Engineer Status with Engineers Australia while working in Pakistan.
In 2007 he emigrated to the UK and started working for another Australian based Engineering Company, actively operating in Oil and Gas Sector.
He recently gained Chartered Chemical Engineer status from Institute of Chemical Engineers.
He enjoys travelling, meeting people of various communities to share professional experience with them, and enjoy most of the sports especially cricket, hockey. |

Andrew Johnson is originally from Melbourne and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2007. Andrew graduated from Monash University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
In Australia, Andrew worked predominately in the manufacturing industry as a design engineer where he has developed solutions for the medical industry from design through to prototypes and into production.
Andrew currently works for GBM Minerals Engineering Consultants Limited where he is a Project Engineer. He has been with GBM since 2007 where he has worked on feasibility studies and EPCM projects for the mining industry. This work has seen him work both in the UK and abroad taking him to such places as Canada, Albania, Georgia and Egypt.
Andrew joined the UK Chapter committee at the beginning of 2011.
Andrew’s interests include anything that involves sport which included recently completing the 2011 London Marathon and playing basketball. He also enjoys travel particularly to anywhere that is hot! |

Tyson Fehring graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Swinburne University of Technology, located in Melbourne in 2003. While working in northern Victoria Tyson completed a Master of Technology in Project Management with La Trobe University and Chifley Business School in 2009. Tyson’s professional working life has been with the water industry.
Tyson relocated from Melbourne to the United Kingdom in August 2010 with his fiancée Melissa, and is currently working as a Lead Design Engineer with Mott MacDonald working on the AMP5 framework agreement with Thames Water, based in Cambridge.
Tyson is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, a Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute, a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientist and Managers, Australia, and is currently working towards his Engineering Executive with Engineers Australia.
In addition to travelling around the UK and Europe, Tyson’s other interests include films, sports, keeping fit and catching up with mates. |
